Top 5 Designer Handbags of 2014

Classic designer handbags will never be a thing of the past. The older they are, the more they become a timeless work of art. Here are the top 5 designer handbags starting out in 2014.

1. Number one, of course, is the Hermes Birkin. Pricing for the fabulous Birkin bag can steep to a high of $100,000 with a wait time up to two years - take that for luxury. Having a Birkin is a symbol of status, or just a symbol for "I have a designer handbag obesssion." Both are acceptable.

2. Then comes the Chanel 2.55. Chanel bags are classy - therefore, people go crazy for them. That's just the way life goes sometimes. The Chanel 2.55 is not near as pricey as the Birkin. Consignment to new, the pricing ranges from about 2,500 to 6,500.

3. Number three is dedicated to the original Yves Saint Laurent brand name, and that is where the YSL Muse comes into play. The YSL Muse is a pretty awesome handbag, I must say. It's structured, big, and such a wonderful piece of luxury. The bag pretty much goes with anything you may have in your closet - from casual to casual "let's go out!" The YSL Muse is just a must have.

4. Bless the Balenciaga Motorcycle Bag. I mean really. It's daring, yet magical all at the same time. It's a shoulder bag, it's a satchel, it's big enough, but not too big. It's pure perfection. If you don't own this bag, you should!

You probably won't find this bag brand new, but you could get a great bargain online. It will just be a little "pre-loved," you know?
